Importance of Classroom etiquette

Etiquette – A word so big and usually underrated. As a teenager we have come across this word many a times. From elders in our family to school teachers, everyone talks about good manners and etiquettes. But we often took it for granted back then. Didn’t we?

In EDUFOLKS classroom etiquette are also essential for fostering a respectful and productive

learning environment. Here are some key points which we focus on:

1. Respectful Communication

  • Pay attention when others are speaking. Avoid interrupting and wait for permission before speaking or asking questions.

2. Be Prepared

  • Come to Class Ready and complete assignments on Time.

3. Stay Engaged

  • Participate Actively in discussions and activities and avoid Distractions

4. Respect Personal Space

  • Maintain Boundaries and always ask before borrowing

5. Follow Classroom Rules

  • Know the Expectations and respect authority

6. Be Mindful of Time

  • Be punctual and stay until dismissed

7. Maintain a Positive Attitude

  • Be open to feedback and stay positive

8. Take Responsibility

  • Own Your Actions and help maintain the classroom

9. Practice Empathy

  •  Be considerate of others’ feelings and be supportive
