Exercise I. Read the sentences given below and underline the adverbs.

  1. Angela is too reckless to be given any responsibility.
  2. The north winds were very strong; damaged numerous buildings.
  3. The baby was fed few minutes back; he is sleeping soundly.
  4. The Army soldiers fought the recent war heroically.
  5. Joey always tries his best to impress the girls.
  6. John replied, “Surely, you are mistaken.”
  7. The movie ‘Fast and Furious’ is starting soon.
  8. My client messaged me again to remind me of the purchase.
  9. The food was already over; the organizers were in trouble.
  10. John is quite busy today; he is jam-packed.
  11. Is your cat upstairs?
  12. The Sens looked for the missing puppy everywhere but had no luck!
